Rapper T.I. and his wife Tameka were arrested lat night. According to a recent report, authorities smelled marijuana coming from their vehicle during a traffic stop in West Hollywood, California on Sunset Boulevard.
The couple was charged with possession of a controlled substance and was arrested and booked at the West Hollywood’s sheriff’s station and bail was set at $10,000 each.
Hope all goes well–isn’t Clifford Harris still on probation? I guess he wasn’t in the area of California where marijuana is accepted. 
Winner of four career titles, tennis player, Victoria Azarenka, collapsed at the U.S. Open. According to reports, she fell while chasing down the ball on baseline and was taken of the court. Check the link blow to see the fall. Sad, but hope all is well with her.

According to a recent report, Bethenny Frankel of The Real Housewives of New York rejected Bravo’s offer for her to return to season 4. She tells a reputable magazine “Last season was scary and painful”. There is an insider that states that Bethenny will make a few appearances (via contract).
Good luck to Bethenny! She has done well with her spin-off show “Bethenny Getting Married?”, Skinnygirl Margaritas, and her Body of Bethenny DVD.

The Kardashian sisters and their mother Kris Jenner are said to be joining forces with QVC for their clothing line titled K-Dash by Kardashian and is set to debut on QVC as part of Fashion’s Night Out. The line includes belts, handbags, leggings, tunics, and of course a variety of other accessories.

OK…Hollyweird is getting weirder…unless it was already like this and everybody is just coming out or needs some attention. Anywho–Paris Hilton was taken into Las Vegas’s Wynn Hotel security office where they discovered that she had cocaine in her possession. Paris’s search and arrest was caught on surveillance cameras.
As of now, her lawyer claims that this was an illegal search.
Several reports are stating that Barbara Walters is planning to launch a talk show similar to ABC’s The View, a spin-off with a male perspective. The show is said to be aired in Los Angeles and in a afternoon time-slot. Guys at the round table? Very interesting for a great lunch-break time. From what I have heard, Bryant Gumbel may be a host.
Will Barbara be missed? She will begin her farewell season September 13.
OK…not confirmed but various reports are stating that singer Mariah Carey is pregnant and she is not revealing anything until she gets closer to the due date. I can say one thing, she sure does look it or she just eating good.

HOT from the PRESS– a Roman Catholic priest has been charged with raping a 14-year-old girl twice 20 years ago from what German prosecutors have been stating. A prosecution spokesman states that the priest (back then a chaplain) forced the girl into having sex with him and used his “force” to threaten her with punishment by God. The girl stated that she had a sexual relationship with him over three years.
According to prosecutors, the priest has been relieved of his duties by the church and has admitted to being in sexual contact with her.

I’m happy to share that there will finally be a reality show with some REALity to it. Bomb Patrol: Afghanistan, is said to be a real-life version of the Oscar-winning film The Hurt Locker. Us, as the viewers, will see behind the scenes of a U.S. Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) unit which is said to start with training sessions in the U.S. then during its overseas deployment.
You are lucky if you have cable- this is a Comcast cable channel. Comcast ordered 10 one hour episodes of the show with a premiere set for next Spring. From what I have read, this show this will appeal to young-male demographic audience.
I will definitely check this one out! Stay tuned.
According to a recent report, Mexican Marines found 72 bodies at a remote ranch near the U.S. border. Apparently there is a BIG drug war going down. 58 men and 14 women dead outside a town near the Gulf of Mexico in Tamaulipas state–90 miles from the Texas border. The bodies were dumped about the ranch and were not buried. From what I have read, a man led the Navy to the area after calling on marines for help at a checkpoint and troops came under fire as they neared the ranch. Reports also state that President Felipe Calderon warned that there will be more bloodshed as his government continues its campaign to defeat violent drug cartels.
Also– a shootout erupted between Mexican police and drug traffickers near the Mexican border-city of Ciudad Juarez injuring three police officers and killing an armed suspect.
Pray for Mexico.
HBO’s True Blood couple Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin got married on the beach this past weekend in the evening at a private residence in California a reliable source has confirmed. For those that didn’t know, the couple began dating a few months after filming first began in 2008.
Congratulations to the couple!
Although I am not a fan of Baby Phat clothing, I am a huge fan of Kimora Lee Simmons and would like to share that she is parting ways with the fashion line which includes her KLS collection, Fabulosity, and other ventures. What is STILL going on is her reality tv show Life in the Fab Lane that is currently shooting its fourth season. Kimora released a statement:
“After 14 years of conceiving and nurturing Baby Phat, its time for me to move on and further expand my other businesses and create a new phenomenon”…

I’m delighted to share that singer-song writer Norah Jones is preparing to release an album called Features. The album will feature songs from her four albums along with music she did on other projects with a variety of artists. She will have appearances with artists like the phenomenal hip-hop artist Talib Kweli, Q-Tip, The Foo Fighters, Dolly Parton, Ray Charles, and Willie Nelson.
Features is said to be released November 2. Excited!
For those that were not aware, back in 2005 rapper Kanye West threw a party (relating to the MTV Video Music Awards) at a club in Miami and former CEO of Death Row Records Suge Knight was in attendance, was shot in the leg by an unknown gunman. Knight is claiming that his $100,000 diamond earring was stolen from the party and this may turn into a million-dollar lawsuit. Now, the update is that there will be a phone mediation session that will take place due to Kanye having prior engagements outside of the country. This decision was made by a Miami federal judge.
As of now I don’t have any confirmed dates for the session. Stay tuned.
The word is that popular comedienne and late night talk show host Chelsea Handler (Chelsea Lately) will be hosting the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. I love the idea of comedians hosting award shows because it brings in some flavor to the show and that’s something I can say Chelsea has.
The show will air live from Los Angeles September 12 at 9pm EST.
Former heavyweight champ Evander Holyfield is said to be in the ring against Sherman Williams at Joe Louis Arena. Holyfield stands at 43-10-2, 28 KO’s while Williams 34-11-2 with 19 KO’s.
According to reports, the fight will be held in November. Stay tuned.
For those who were not aware, radio talk show host Dr. Laura Schlessinger had recently used the N word several times in an on-air conversation with a caller whom she accused of being hypersensitive to racism. Schlessinger recently apologized for saying the N word 11 times to the caller and now plans to give up her radio show when her contract is up at the end of this year.
A recent report shows that national sponsors of her radio program like General Motors, and Motel 6- owned by Accor SA have pulled out. Good luck Laura.
This is the thing with me—why apologize then say “I want to regain my First Amendment rights and I want to be able to say what’s on my mind and in my heart”….OK but to WHOSE expense? I don’t feel that one should have to apologize if they feel they didn’t do anything wrong. You MEANT what you said, so why? So many people have been caught up in using the N word and have to deal with the flip side of it. LEARN from what others do. You decided to say it , so YOU deal with the repercussions. GEEZ. I would have respected her if she wouldn’t have apologized because to me, that means she was “keeping it real”.
